Kathleen Elizabeth "Kathy" Lard has been reunited with the love of her life after 38 years apart. What a joyous reunion. A native of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Friday, May 25, 2007, at her daughter's home at the age of 64.

Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., until religious service in the chapel, conducted by Brother Tommy Middleton. Burial service to follow at Courtney Cemetery in Holden.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Keri Rawls and husband Jeff of Watson; father, Edward Harrison Sr. of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Edward Harrison Jr. and wife Peggy of Baton Rouge, Wayne Harrison and wife Beverly of Denham Springs and Dennis Harrison and wife Lynn of Baton Rouge; and a grandson, Christian Rawls, 7, "She was a great MawMaw."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lard; and her mother, Willie Harrison.

She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, Joy Club and UCT. Pallbearers will be Keith Harrison, Scott Harrison, Derek Harrison, David Rawls, Jason Rawls and Charles Truax.
