James Kirk Lauver was a boiler worker, and riveter for the B. & O. Rail Road. He married Sarah Pearl Hammers on Feb. 20, 1905 in Bellwood, Blair, Pennsylvania, USA. James suffered a fatal brain concussion in an accident, when he was struck in the head by a truck, as he was walking along the highway, in East Altoona, Pennsylvania. He was 67 Years, 10 months, and 28 days old at the time of his death, and had retired from the rail road prior to his death. Three days after his death he was finally buried on January 6, 1941
