She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Mack and Ida McHaffey Emory; husband, Albert Alverson; son, Michael Alverson; four brothers, J C, Boyce Lee, Winford and Claude Emory; and two sisters, Maxine Strickland and Shirley Lockhart. She is survived by her son, Gary Alverson; two daughters, Vickie Gregory and Sandy Dyer; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Tonya and Amber Alverson, Ricky and David Allison, Justin and Casey Dyer; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Willard Emory; and sister, Merle Foster.
