Janet attended school In Weyerhaeuser and was married to Eldon Asmussen on December 1955 and then was married to Claude “Bumps” Postle in 1975.
She worked as a cabin cleaner and bartender at Corners Bar and a dishwasher at Russ’s Pancake House and Maxine’s Restaurant in Rice Lake.
She loved picking on people, playing cards, going fishing, hunting, gardening, camping, being outdoors and she also was on the Thursday Afternoon Bowling League.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Asmussen (Dennis King) of Barron, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eldon Asmussen and Claude “Bumps” Postle; and 2 sisters, Lorraine Olszewski and Marion Bartels.
