Robert Lee Benischek, 74, died Thursday morning, Jan 27, 2000, in Denton, TX, after a sudden illness. Services: 2p.m. Thursday, Hayden Funeral Home, Oxford Junction, by the Rev. Scott Popejoy. Burial Mayflower Cemetery, Oxford Junction. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his companion, Phyllis Edwards, three daughters Laurie Lemmer of Cascade, Georgia Fields of Oxford Mills and Christy Appleby of Oxford Junction; three sons, Don, Jim and Terry, all of Maquoketa; a sister, Doreen Houston of Canton, Iowa; and a brother DeWayne of Joy Ill.
