Lois Smithson Nelson, 88, of Orange, passed away at The Meadows Nursing Home. Born in Arkansas, to Prussia Berlin Reese and Jennie Hile Reese, Lois She was preceded in death by parents, her first husband and father of their children, Clyde Smithson, son, Jerry Carl Smithson, granddaughter, Kimberly Smithson, and Mrs. Nelson's sister Gladys Adams. Her second husband, Frank Nelson also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Smithson Fields and husband Arlon, Clydia Smithson Brown wife Marilyn and daughter in law, Charlene Moore; grandchildren, Greg Skidmore and wife Amy, Donnie Skidmore and wife Cindy, Stacey Skidmore Brister and husband Larry, Shawn McCamey and wife Maurine, April Becker and husband Matt, Britt Smithson and wife Tonya, Mitch Smithson and wife Cyndi, Kevin Smithson and wife Beth, Shelly Smithson-Schragg and husband Myles, Eric Smithson and wife Julie and Sarah Smithson, sixteen great-grandchildren, and her sister Esther Palmer.
