Cheryl Evadne Ellerbee was born October 11, 1948 in Ashburn Georgia. During her 70 years of life, she was an independent woman who loved to travel, but chose to make her home in Tifton, Georgia. Cheryl graduated from Robinson High School in San Juan Puerto Rico and received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. Following college she spent time hiking throughout Europe later living in other states before returning to her birthplace of Georgia. Following her graduation from West Georgia College with a Masters in Psychology she received her license as a Professional Counselor. She worked in multiple agencies which included Behavioral Health Services where she was a therapist and County Manager for the Turner County office. Cheryl was a caring therapist who worked with all of her clients to help them overcome many life problems. Following retirement from Behavioral Health Service she enjoyed reading, playing with her pets, spending time with her neighbors Rayburn and Willette Martin, and supporting agencies for pet rescues.

Her mother and father Garvin and Josephine Ellerbee precedes her in death along with her brother Mike.

A private memorial service will be planned at a later date and her interment will be at South View Cemetery in Thomaston, Georgia. (Interred next to Grandmother Peggy Coolman)
