SULLIVAN - Mina Wills, 83, of Sullivan, died March 31, 2000 at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. She was born the daughter of Ed Morris and Pearl Woodrum on May 20, 1918 at Mine La Motte.
Many local residents will remember Mrs Wills for her sewing talents. She made many costumes, robes and uniforms used in musicals and local ceremonies in this area.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Edgar and Pete Morris.
She is survived by husband Sam Wills, two children Mina Ann (Mrs Don Eaton) of Sullivan, Mary Lee (Mrs Bill LaPlant) of Franclay.
Four grandchildren Lee Roy Long, Laura Lee Miller, Tammy Toombs, Jim Jenkins, Jr; one sister Gwen Bell of Sullivan; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will start at 3 pm at C Z Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services will be Sunday, April 2, at 1 pm at the C Z Boyer and Son Chapel Desloge with Rev Don Stanley officiating. Interment will follow at the St Francois Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to charities of your choice.
