Funeral services for Cherry Ann (Collum) Compton, age 81 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Goodwill Church of God in Goodwill, Louisiana. Reverend Glen Edmondson and Vivian McAnally will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Reeks Cemetery near Pioneer, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from noon until time of service on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Goodwill Church of God in Goodwill, Louisiana.
Mrs. Compton passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death by her husband, R. H. "Tim" Compton; her father, Joseph Lee Andy Collum; her mother, Inez Arizona (Cates) Allman; and two sons, Kenneth Lee Compton and Tony Ray Compton.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Ann and Jube Walker of Graham, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Chris Compton and Julia Fletcher of Jal, New Mexico; son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kari Compton of Oak Grove, Louisiana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Leon Collum (Sandra) of Kermit, Texas; sister, Wanda Nelson (Greg) of Pioneer, Louisiana; and sister, Joyce Wilson (Howard) of Georgetown, Texas.
