Marvin "Ringo" Romanetto, 65, of Macon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO, Marvin was born November 7, 1942, in Kankakee, IL, the son of James and Elsie Grob Romanetto. He was united in marriage to Judie Christensen in Kankakee, IL on December 14, 1967. Marvin worked as a dozer operator for Peabody Coal and later Associated Electric. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, listening to old music, gardening, watching the Chicago Cubs, and especially his grandchildren. Marvin is survived by his wife, Judie of Macon, two sons, Kurt Romanetto and his wife Beth of Atlanta, MO, Bryan Romanetto and his wife Krista of Columbia, MO, one daughter, Darlea Johnson and her husband Curtis of Colorado Springs, CO, six grandchildren, Andy, Nick, Jordin, Becca, Erin, and Joshua, and one granddaughter on the way, two brothers, Gary Romanetto and Margaret Manegold of Gardner, IL, and Bob Romanetto of Cardiff, IL, mother-in-law, Jane Christensen of Gardner, IL, and one nephew, Jon. Visitation will be from 10 until 2 on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial will be at a later date in Illinois.
