He married Lavina Long on 4 Jul 1865 • Crawford, Ohio, USA, and they had two children together, Julia and James. Lavina died in 1880. Peter moved to Michigan. I have done extensive research on him. I have a lot of documents to verify this is the correct Peter Reed.
He then married Samantha Zimmerman and they had one daughter together, Flora. He died on January 26, 1923, in Cheshire, Michigan, at the age of 80, and was buried in Allegan, Michigan.
