Heart Ailment
Glen A. Hatch, 72, 740 E. 150 S. Bountiful, Farmers State Bank board chairman, died Nov. 5 of a heart ailment at his home. He was also secretary-treasurer of the Hatch Bros. Livestock Co. and director of the Woods Cross Canning Co. in Clearfield.
FUNERAL services were held Friday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. in the Union Mortuary chapel with Clarence Samuelson in charge.
Prelude and postlude music, Thora Gregory; invocation, Heber Winterton; remarks, Clarence Samuelson; male quartet, "The Lord's Prayer", Earl Martin, Bert Keddington, Alvin Keddington, Loile Bailey, accompanied by Ann Bailey.
"RESOLUTION" by Newell P. Parkin; male quartet, "My Heavenly Home", speaker, Bishop Wayne Winegar; male quartet, "Christian's Goodnight"; benediction Arlan Winterton.
Dedication of the grave in the Bountiful Memorial Park, James E. Eldredge; pallbearers, Raymond N. Schluter, Charles A. Larsen, Hal E. Fackrell, Arthur R. Stout Jr., Oscar W. Moyle Jr., and Tim Hatch.
The Bountiful 18th ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers.
GLEN A. Hatch was born Nov. 17, 1890 in Woods Cross, a son of Philander and Priscilla Muir Hatch. He married Edith Eldredge April 18, 1917 in West Bountiful.
SURVIVING are his widow; one son, Col H. E. (Hod), serving with the air force in the Canal Zone, and three grandchildren.
