FAIRBURY — Alice A. Steidinger, 85, of Fairbury, passed away at 1:07 p.m. Friday (May 17, 2019) at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Pontiac.
Cremation has been accorded.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Forrest Township Cemetery. Pastor Daryl Evans will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Fairbury.

Alice was born July 6, 1933, in Gridley, the daughter of Russell and Lillian Drake Nash. She married Gene Steidinger on June 12, 1954, in Fairbury. He passed away in 1991.
Surviving are her children, Vicki (Ricky) Bane, Doug (Jeri) Steidinger, Rick Steidinger and Vernon (Kim) Steidinger ; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Annebelle Alfield and several nieces and nephews including her niece, Barbara (Milton) Mowery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve; two grandchildren and brother, Dave Nash.
Alice was a nurse assistant for over 30 years at Fairbury Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.
