Mrs. Haralson had served as office secretary in the Spur schools for a number of years. She died in Methodist hospital, Lubbock, Sunday morning. She had been a resident of Spur since 1938. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Born Loraine Bond in 1918, she married J. B. Haralson, Jr. in 1943.
Survivors include her husband, of Spur; one son, Neal Haralson and a daughter, Jana Haralson, both of Spur; three sisters, Mrs. Zettye Parrack, Eastland; Mrs. Modell McDaniel, Midland; Mrs. Lillian Barrett of Cleburne; five brothers, Homer Bond of Abilene; Raleigh, Hamlin, Euell, Nashville, AR; Clayton, Eunice, NM and Delimane of Monahans
Pallbearers included A. J. Harvey, Dempsey Alexander, Lester Ball, Ben Spradling, Ray DeBord and Robert Williams.
The school board and superintendent were honorary pallbearers. There was no school Tuesday.
Interment was in Spur Cemetery.
