George Francis Ekeler, 85, of 330 E. Ashley St., died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Ekeler was born March 18, 1879 at Krakow, Mo., the son of Martin and Louise Kenke Ekeler.
He is survived by one cousin, Mrs. Harold Kimball, with whom he made his home at 330 E. Ashley.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. Donald P. Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8 pm Sunday at a local funeral home.
