Services were entrusted to Hays Funeral Home of Coatesville, Indiana.∼Maudie F. Gorham, 92, Stilesville, died Friday at Putnam County Hospital.
Born in West Terre Haute, she was the daughter of Elmer and Pearl (McFarland) Vice.
She was the owner of the Stilesville Market for eight years and had been the clerk/treasurer for the Town of Stilesville.
She was a member of the Stilesville Baptist Church, the Women's Missionary Club and the Hendricks County Garden Club.
She married Claire F. Gorham. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1995.
Survivors include children Nancy Pinkerton, Mississippi, Doris Shuler, Plainfield, Bonita Davis and husband Ed, Grovertown, Steve D. Gorham, Putnamville, and Sam Gorham and wife Irene, Rockville; 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
