She was always incredibly supportive of his efforts and enjoyed many travel adventures with him all over the world, by plane, car, and famously "The Bus," the family RV. She was a consummate helpmate, hostess, and public servant working for many years on the Board of Opportunities, Inc. and other groups that served Texarkana. She had great fun with long and enduring relationships, and particularly enjoyed storytelling, spoiling her grandchildren, and playing weekly bridge games with lifelong friends.
