FARMLAND, Ind.--Vera I. Jester, 92, formerly of East Pursley Street, died Wednesday in Chrystal's Country Home, Parker City, after a long illness.
She was a native of Delaware County and was a homemaker. She attended Farmland Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Byron Jester, Farmland, and Donald Jester, Dunkirk; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her husband, Wilbur Jester, died in 1972.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Thornburg-Lightner Funeral Home, on Ind. 32 between Farmland and Parker City, with Rev. Harold Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey. Calling will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday and before services Sunday at the funeral home.
