REDKEY, Ind., May 1.--The funeral service for Mrs. Susan Roberts, 87, the wife of Samuel Roberts, was conducted this afternoon in the Methodist Episcopal Church here of which she had been a member from girlhood. She was 87 years old and died early Thursday morning of pneumonia. Burial took place in HIll Crest Cemetery, south of Redkey. Mrs. Roberts, who had lived here nearly 70 years, had a wide acquaintance in Redkey and Jay County. She is survived by the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Laura Barnell; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, and five sisters. Mrs. Roberts had been in comparatively good health until she was seized by an attack of pneumonia several days ago.
