The 1880 Census record for Eben and Mary Greenlaw shows that Eva is the 7th of 11 children (other children may not have been present on this record).

Eva married Joseph Albert Greenlaw, (son of John C. Greenlaw and Mary L. Fifield, of Deer Isle, Maine,) on 25 November 1896, in Deer Isle.

Joseph was a 'marine steward/yachtsman. They were both 23 at time of marriage and Eva was a schoolteacher.

They had the following children, all born Stonington, Maine:

Maurice Wesley b. 1899 - m. Florence A. Anderson of Camden, ME, 1924 - dies 1958, Chesterfield, VA, age 59.

Lillian Madaline b. 22 Feb 1908 - m. 1st Chester Lisle Leonard of Camden, ME. Married second, Joseph H. Foley of Glen Falls, NY. Lillian dies 17 Mar 1979 in Melbourne, FL (burial St. Mary's Cemetery , Glen Falls, Saratoga, NY)

Joseph Milton b. Jan 1914 - married Laura G Brown - lived in Glen Falls, NY, died Oct 1972. Burial: Gansevoort Cemetery, Gansevoort, NY

In 1910, Eva and Joseph and children are living in Stonington, ME.

In 1920, the couple and their three children now live in Camden, Maine. Joseph is a steward on a steam yacht. Their son Maurice, now age 20, is a ship fitter in a shipyard.

In 1931, Eva and Joseph are found living on 29 Limerock St, Rockland, ME. Joseph's occupation is "mariner."

Eva's husband Joseph dies in 1941, in Brookline, MA, and is buried in this plot.

Eva dies in 1952, most likely at the home of her daughter Lillian Foley, in Glen Falls, Saratoga County, NY. Burial in this plot.
