SAFFORD, MAY 16--During the past few days three Graham County persons have died after long lives of usefulness in the communities in which they lived. . .
Striken while engaged to work at the Safford theater by heart disease, Mrs. Luella Despain died Tuesday morning at her home near here. She was born in Butterville, Utah, and was 66 years old.
She was married to David A. Despain January 26, 1887, in the Latter-Day Saints Temple at St. George, Utah, and came to Arizona in March 1886. Returning to Utah in 1905, she resided there until 1927, when she returned to Gila Valley.
She is survived by her husband and eight of her childre. Funeral services were held at Thatcher Thursday afternoon.
