MISS BLANCHE PARTRIDGE.
---
Daughter of Gen. F. W. Partridge Departs This Life at Their Home in Sycamore.
Miss Blanche Partridge, only daughter of Gen. F. W. Partridge, died at their home in this city on Tuesday morning, February 22. She had long been in delicate health, and recently her trouble developed into dropsy which was the immediate cause of her death. Miss Partridge was born in Sandwich, Ill., 38 years ago. Soon after the war, in which her father took a conspicuous part, the family removed to Sycamore, Mr. Partridge having been elected circuit clerk and recorder, in which position he served from 1864 to 1867. He was shortly afterwards appointed United States Consul to Siam and in 1869 the family sailed for the Orient where they resided until 1876, when they returned to Sycamore, which had ever since been their home.
The funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal church tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:30 a. m., and the remains will be interred in Elmwood.
