John E. Robinson, 91, of Fullerton, Calif., a lifetime resident of Preemption Township, died yesterday in Fullerton. Arrangements are pending at Crummy Funeral Home in Reynolds.
He is survived by three sons, Myron Robinson of Orion, John E. Robinson of Rockford and Lewis Robinson of Fullerton; and three daughters, Mrs. Robert Gauley of Reynolds, Mrs. Manford Davidson of Rock Island and Mrs. Florence Heeren of Oneco, Fla.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Crummy Funeral Home for John E. Robinson, 91, of Fullerton, Calif., formerly of Preemption. He died Tuesday, Nov. 9, at his home after an extended illness.
Born March 13, 1876, he married Della Lucinda Hunting July 26, 1900 in Rock Island. they lived in Preemption until 1940, when they moved to Rock Island.
In 1953 he retired from his job as machine operator at Servus Rubber Co. in Rock Island. The couple then moved to California.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Heeren of Oneco, Fla., Mrs. Robert Gauley of Reynolds and Mrs. Manford Davidson of Rock Island; three sons, Myron of Orion, John of Rockford and Lewis of Fullerton; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Norman E. Trolia of the Preemption Methodist Church.
