Joyce R. Fehr, 89, of Pen Argyl, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at her residence. Born: On January 25, 1920 in Pen Argyl, she was the daughter of the late Alfredand Pearl Grigg Smith. Personal: Her husband, Warren Mason Fehr died in 1965. She worked as a Sales Clerk at Harding's Department Store until retiring. She was a 1937 Graduate of Pen Argyl High School. Memberships: She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pen Argyl, PA. Survivors: One son, David Fehr and wife, Karen of Lincoln, MA; one brother, Thomas Smith and wife Lillian, and one sister, Barbara Harding, all of Pen Argyl, PA; one granddaughter, Caitlin Fehr; and nieces and nephews. One sister, Lorraine Poust and one brother, Richard Smith died earlier. Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Ave. Pen Argyl, PA. Call,Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Plainfield Twp., PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, Pen Argyl, PA. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Ave. Pen Argyl PA 18072.
