Evadna Ruth (Cheesman) Quandel, 68, of 29 Palms, Calif. died Wednesday in Joshua Tree, Calif. Quandel was cremated at the Mountain Valley Mortuary in Joshua Tree, Calif. with private services. Quandel was born June 20, 1925 at Kellyville to Charley and Oma Town-send Cheesman. She attended school at Kellyville and graduated from Kellyville High School. She married Fred Quandel and lived at Bristow for several years. They moved to California in 1963. She is preceded by her husband, her parents and two brothers. She is survived by sons Bennie L. Quandel of Beaumont, Texas and John Quandel of Quartzsite, Ariz.; daughter Pat Wallace of 29 Palms, Calif.; brother Douglas Cheesman of Chehalis, Wash.; sisters Lillie Lyons of Pcggs, Okla. and Mary Jo Chess-man of 29 Palms.
