Alvord ~ Jerry Mack Crafton, 77, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Alvord
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Alvord. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Pastor Veronica Greanead will officiate. Pallbearers will include Keaton Crisp, Dakota Crafton, Dalton Outlaw, Therion Hoppe, Brad Thompson, Andy Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Donnie Proctor, and Jose Luis Trejo.
Jerry was born on October 24, 1941 to Elmer Douglas and Winnie Lee (Sims) Crafton in Boonsville, Texas. He was united in marriage to Surrynda Kay Stephens April 7, 1963 in Granbury. Jerry a retired roofing contractor was also a Mason at the Masonic Lodge #508 in Chico, Texas. Jerry proudly served our country in the United States Army and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Alvord. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Kay Crafton of Alvord; his son, Michael Crafton and wife Wendy of Keller; his daughters, Chanda Crisp of Greenwood, Stacey Crafton of Alvord; his sister, Pat Dykes and husband Chris of Ben Wheeler; Papa to, Cassi Williams and husband Jordan of Fort Worth, Keaton Crisp and wife Shelby of Angleton, Dakota McCall Augustas Crafton of North Richland Hills, Jessie Outlaw, Dalton Outlaw, Kodie Outlaw, and Sawyer Alvis; his 3 great grandchildren, Logan Williams, Landry, and Karter; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
