Mrs Sweat, 76, died Thursday afternoon following an illness of several weeks.
Born in Walton County, she was the daughter of the late George E. Ivey and Julia Cook. She was a member of the Jack's Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Henry S. Sweat; one son George P. Sweat, Memphis Tenn.; a grand-daughter Gail Sweat, Memphis Tenn.; a brother George M. Ivey, Good Hope; and a sister, Mrs. Paul Smith, Covington.
