Jesse Dean Armstrong, of Alex, OK, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Lawton/Ft. Sill VA Center in Lawton, OK at the age of 86. He was born July 3, 1932 in Rush Springs, OK to James Everett and Cleo Katherine (King) Armstrong.

He married Edna Mae Green on September 6, 1965 in Alex. He had worked for Arkla Gas, Maremont, and Alex Public Schools as a custodian and bus driver.

Jesse served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Edna Mae Armstrong on October 30, 1992.

Jesse is survived by his son, James Robert Armstrong and his wife, Michelle;

Sisters: Flona Armstrong and Carol Cecil;

And many grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
