Gary Glenn Braddock, 75, of Marietta, Ohio, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts to Paul and Garnett (Stout) Braddock.

Gary was a graduate of Salem High School (WV) and Salem College, with a BA in Business. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Gary worked for BF Goodrich and MSI, then co-founded Flexmag Industries.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanete Fay (Bartlett) Braddock, whom he married on November 26, 2011; son, Phil Braddock (Monica) of Cincinnati, Ohio; step daughter, Renee Shotwell (Rob) of Vincent, Ohio; step son, Kyle Parks of Fleming, Ohio; five grandchildren, Alexis, Max and Ava Braddock, Arizzona Albright and Raylen Shotwell; siblings, Shannon Braddock, Ron Braddock (Terry), Mary Ash (David), Mike Braddock (Irmi); many nieces and nephews; father in law, Al Bartlett; three brothers in law, Herman Nau (Betty), Carl Nau (Bonnie) and Jim Bartlett; and special friend, Roger Fontaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theresa "Terri" (Nau) Braddock on September 15, 2005; and brother, Denny Braddock.

Gary always put his family and friends before himself. His interests and hobbies were those of the ones he loved, so he enjoyed traveling the world with Terri and golfing with Phil. After Terri passed away, he was blessed by the gift of Jeanete and her family and the love that they gave him. Those who knew him best would often hear him say "LIFE IS GOOD", and his truly was.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with his friend, Roger Fontaine officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, with full military honors observed. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
