Adelene R. Gehrke, 92, of Bulger formerly from Slovan, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2021. She was born on January 10, 1929 daughter of the late Fred and Josephine Bratony Perko. She graduated from Union High School. After High School, she became a homemaker. Adelene was married to the late William Gehrke of 65 years, together they had two daughters.
Adelene enjoyed polka dancing, creating art, and being a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by daughters Susan Hutchinson (Frank), and Lisa Phillis (Ralph), grandchildren Elizabeth, Francis (Kayla), Eric, Nicholas (Chelsie), Melissa (Matthew), and Seth, and great-grandchildren Talon, Lilianna, Frankie, Reed, Olivia, Ryan, Rory, and Rivers.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers Joseph and Charles Perko, and her granddaughter Megan Phillis.
