Funeral Services
Held Monday For
Mrs. Horace Hatch
Funeral services were held Monday, March 4, at 2 p. m. in the Bountiful Second ward chapel for Ethel Ledingham Hatch, 22, wife of Horace M. Hatch, who died, Friday evening, March 1, at the home of her parents, following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Hatch was born May 15, 1912 in Bountiful, a daughter of John S. and Bertha Wittenberg Ledingham.
Besides her husband and parents Mrs. Hatch is survived by one daughter, Marilyn, five brothers and two sisters. They are: Ruth and George Ledingham and Mrs. F. B. Muir of Bountiful, J. Scott and Glen W. Ledingham of Salt Lake, Homer W. Ledingham of Salmon, Idaho and Clarence B. Ledingham.
Mrs. Hatch was a graduate of Davis high school and Henagers Business college and was also a very active church worker.
The following services were rendered: Selection, "Abide With Me" Bountiful Second ward choir, conducted Bennett Peterson and accompanied by Lucy Fackrell; invocation, Bishop Thomas E. Winegar; vocal solo, "Resignation," Mrs. Myron Holbrook, accompanied by Mrs. Leander Thompson; remarks, Joseph E. Hepworth, Sr., Bishop Ezra T. Hatch, Laurence Moss and Samuel Morgan; vocal solo, "In the Garden of My Heart" Joseph Wood, accompanied by Mrs. Nephi Hepworth; "A Tribute" written by J. A. Taylor read by Bishop James E. Burns who presided; vocal selection. "I Know My Heavenly Father Knows," Dorius Eakle assisted by the choir and benediction by Bishop Quayle Cannon.
Interment was in the Bountiful cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by D. Ray Moss.
The floral offerings were many and beautiful and the chapel was crowded with kind and sympathetic friends.
