Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Koosharem ward hall for Antone Torgerson, 67, who died of a heart ailment Sunday morning at his home in Koosharem. Interment was in the Koosharem Cemetery.
Mr. Torgerson was born in Hockson, Norway, on January 6, 1872, a son of Hans and Anna Gurena Olsen Torgersen. At the age of four years he came with his parents to Utah. They made their home at Ephraim for three years. In 1876 they moved to Koosharem, where Mr. Torgerson has
since resided. Mr. Torgerson married Hilda Gulbransen in the Manti Temple on June 22,1910. Nine children were born to them.
Surviving are his widow; seven daughters, Mrs. Bertha Sorensen and Mrs. Carl Kramer of Richfield, Mrs. Walter LeFevre of Elsinore, Mrs. Howard Puckett of Mercedes, Texas and Lula, Aleene, and Jean Torgensen of Koosharem; two sons, Herbert Torgerson of Angle and Ivan Torgensen of Koosharem; five grandchildren and; three brothers, Torval Torgersen of Koosharem, Eric Torgerson of Lyman and Frank Torgersen of Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Christina Bagley, Mrs. O.H. Anderson and Mrs. Julia Black of Koosharem.
