1951 obituary. South Portland, Oct. 9. - Everett C. Jordan of 5 Haven Road, 55, co-owner of the Lloyd W. Jordan Company Service Station here, died today after an illness of two years. Mr. Jordan was born at Cape Elizabeth, Jan. 28, 1896, the son of the late Pomeroy and Emma Dyer Jordan. He was graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School and a portland business college. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Dunn Jordan; a daughter, Mrs. Malcolm Trynor, Saco; a son, Merele Jordan, a senior at Bowdoin College; a sister, Gladys I Jordan, Scarborough; five brothers, Roy of Lomita, Calif. , Philip N. of Florida, Lawrence of Bridgton, Stewart of South Portland, and Norman of Cape Elizabeth, co-owner of the service station; a grandson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. Interment will be in Forest City Cemetery.
