He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Carson.
Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Carson of Walnut Ridge; grandson, Tyler Carson of Walnut Ridge; mother, Wanda Carson of Mountain Home; sisters, Jane Goodman of Jonesboro and Judy Thomas of San Angelo, Texas; brothers, Billy Carson of Walnut Ridge, Donald Carson of Easly, S.C., and Ronnie Carson of Bull Shoals.
Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.
