Howard Wayne Babb passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years of age. He was born December 30, 1940 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late Eugene Babb and Naomi Venable Babb.
Wayne attended Spaulding School and later joined the Oklahoma National Guard. Wayne worked as a pumper for numerous years and enjoyed it very much.
Wayne married Sherri Carpenter 39 years ago in Holdenville. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, bailing hay and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Babb, siblings, Bob Babb, Billy Joe Babb, Raymond Babb, Homer Babb, Jack Babb and Fern Shockley.
Wayne is survived by his wife Sherri Babb of the home, daughter, Linda Crawford and spouse Russell Anderson, grandchildren, Jared Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Allyssa McCoy, Makaylie Crawford, Kenzie Joplin, Derek Anderson and Paedon Anderson, five great grandchildren, siblings, Johnnie and wife Pam Babb of Spaulding, Marie Grimes of Holdenville and Jane Myers of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 8, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene in Holdenville with Pastor Dane Robinson and Bill Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery
