Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday for Alson M. Adkins, 57, of Grayson, who died Tuesday at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe after a long illness.
The Revs. Robert Hatten and Mildred Lenard officiated at Old Union Church with burial in the church cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lena Adkins; three sons, Marlin Adkins, Ricky Adkins and Charlie Adkins; a brother, C. W. Adkins; and one sister, Mrs. Sara Busby, all of Grayson.
