Friends of Mrs. J.B. Gibson were distressed today to learn of her death which occured at seven o'clock this morning at the Halstead Hospital where she had been taken for observation.
Mrs. Gibson had been in failing health for some time and a careful examination had shown her illness of serious nature. Death was quite unexpected and comes as a great shock to her husband, her little family and to her other relatives and her friends as well.
Arrangements for her funeral had not been made at the time of going to press, but will be made thru the Kansan.

Halstead News

The funeral of Mrs. J.B. Gibson will be held at the Methodist Church, Friday morning at 9:30. The Rev. T.F. Rudisill will have charge, and interment will be at the Halstead Cemetery.
Mrs. Gibson lived here in her girl-hood and will be remembered as Helen Meyers. She is a sister to Mrs. Jake Krehbiel, who lives south-west of town.
