Mary Eastman died July 3, 2007 at Clough Center in New London, NH where she resided the past three years. She was born in Newport, NH on June 13, 1911, to Joseph A. and Mary (Jones) Hill.

She graduated from Sunapee High School in 1929 and lived in Sunapee most of her life.

She was a homemaker and seamstress. She made the uniforms for the Woodbine Restaurant for many years.

She was active in Community United Methodist Church and was a former member of Crescent Rebekah Lodge of Sunapee and the Crescent Club.

She was an avid quilter and a dedicated Red Sox Fan.

Her husband, Phillip Eastman, died in 1994.

Family includes daughter Gail Carey of Bristol; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; sister Eva Avery of Springfield; nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Eastman Cemetery, Sunapee, NH.
