He is survived by three daughters, Frankie Ann Catrou and husband, Pierre, of Lafayette, Gay Marie Hicks and husband, Davin, Cathy Williams and husband, Richard, of Houma; one brother, James Dorion of Houma; one sister Margaret Larke of Houma; six grandchildren, Angele Hebert, Jean Pierre Catrou, Richard Williams, Michael Williams, Sunny Rae Hicks and Brian Williams; and one great-grandchild, Dakota Hebert.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Bethancourt Doiron; his parents, Clay Doiron and Frances Fabregas Doiron; one daughter, Bertha Doiron; one brother, Clayton Doiron; and three sisters, Mae Francis Babin, Rhea Boudreaux and Juanita Landry.
He was a retired business owner of Frank's Package Liquor and Grocery Store of 40 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He played the piano, saxophone, bass fiddle and had a strong love for music.
He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
