McROBERTS, Lucinda Porter, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2011, surrounded by family in Dripping Springs, Texas, after a battle with lung cancer. Lucinda was born in Terrell, Texas on February 1, 1937, and was a 1958 graduate of University of Texas. She lived in Terrell, Dallas and Highland Park, Texas, before moving to Richmond, Virginia in 1972. She moved to Dripping Springs in 2010. Lucinda was a homemaker, elementary teacher, banker, travel agent, church receptionist and loving wife and mother. Lucinda is survived by her beloved husband of over 52 years, Richard Lewis "Dick" McRoberts; brother, Frederick Thomas "Tom" Porter III; sons, Scot Patrick McRoberts (Teresa) of Richmond, Virginia, and Andrew Ray McRoberts (Connie) of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia; daughter, Mary Margaret McRoberts (Ron Turner) of Dripping Springs, Texas; special niece, Kelly Diane Johnson; and eight grandchildren, Sam, Max and Grace McRoberts, Porter, Wesley and Lacey McRoberts, and Deron and Cortlandt Turner. Lucinda was preceded in death by her son, Brian P. McRoberts; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick T. "Fred" Porter Jr. (Margaret Tugwell). A memorial service will be held Monday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Avenue, Richmond, Virginia.
