His death certificate list his middle name as Adam per informant Ottie, his son, but I have always been told that my brother Alonzo was named after his grandfather Harold Alonzo who in turn was named for his grandfather John Alonzo, but left it alone when his death record stated "Adam".

I recently came across John's daughter Gertrude's birth record as well as Marie's and they both state their father is "John Alonzo Davison" and the documents state that supporting evidence was a signed affidavit from their sister Golda C Craig stating their father was "John Alonzo Davison" so I have changed it back to Alonzo.

So now it comes down to he says/she says but I will stick with what I have been told.
