Conducted Saturday

Graveside for Clyde Eugene (Gene) Hatch TFC United States Marines who was killed July 22, 1944 at Guam will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Bountiful City Cemetery.

The son of Clyde and Myrtle Butterfield Hatch he was born Feb. 17, 1925 at Woods Cross. He was educated in Davis County schools and a graduate of the Davis High school in 1943.

He was on Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a member of the West Bountiful Ward. His family are now members of the Bountiful Second Ward.

His brother Robert James Hatch was killed Nov. 22, 1943 at Tarawa.

He is survived by his parents one Brother, Alvin W. Hatch, Bountiful, and a grandmother Mrs. Elizabeth Hatch of Bountiful.

Friends may call at the family residence, Friday from 6 to 9 p. m. and Saturday until time of services at 925 East 5 South Bountiful.

The grave will be dedicated by Bishop S. Lloyd Riley of Bountiful Second Ward. The services will be military under the direction of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the local America Legion George R. Day Post no. 79. Burial will be under the direction of the Union Mortuary of Bountiful.
