William (Bill) E. Bray
1921 - 2018

Bill was born in Bakersfield on 1 February 1921 and passed away in Bakersfield on 15 July 2018. He excelled in football, baseball, and basketball at Kern Union High School (BHS). He served in the Army Signal Corps. during WWII. After the war, he moved to Santa Cruz, CA working for Pacific Bell for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Elks Club and Trinity Presbyterian Church.

His beloved wife, Mary, passed away in 2010. He is survived by his daughter Claudia Keith, son Bill Bray, granddaughters Jayme Keith and Jenna Keith-Birney, her husband Mark and their son Francis, Charity Bray and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express our thanks to dad's caregiver at Divine Mercy, George and to the nurses at Optimal Hospice, especially Stephanie and Julie.

Services will be held in the chapel at Hillcrest on Saturday, August 11th, 10 am.
