I have spent many hours looking in assorted locations to find the exact location of Luther's burial. I have had no success. Any clues that you may have will be greatly appreciated.
I am still following the bread crumbs.
The death certificate and the kindness of a stranger has led me to the Pounds Pool Cemetery on 2019-12-28.
A reminder for those unfamiliar with death certificates during this time period. The death certificates often contained less than accurate information. Most of the information on this death certificate was provided by the INFORMANT, his son L.E. Smith. L.E. Smith was only about 4 years old when his grandfather George Washington Smith died in 1907. If anyone finds any proof of the existence of a George Thomas Smith that was married to Permelia Ann Smith please let me know.
