Gottfried Bartell was the husband of Marie (Mary) Schroeder, daughter of Friedrich and Augusta (Marose) Schroeder. Fred and Mary had two daughters, Wilhelmina Caroline and Elsie. Caroline married Otto Mencel and after his death she married Joseph Mittleman. Elsie married Sidney Keclik.
