The daughter of George Payette and Eliza Charland was born Lanoraie, PQ, Canada. Married Victor Basil Boucher son of Napoleon Boucher and Ester Chaudonnais on 14 August 1891 at Somerset, St. Croix, Wisconsin. They were the parents of seventeen children: Rose/1892, Ester Camilla/1893, Florence/1894, Elmer James/1895, Louis Victor/1897, Edward Napoleon/1898, Pearl, Jeanette/1900, Roy George/1902, William J./1904, Oliver Arthur/1905, Louise Anne/1907, Grace, Iva Mae/1910, Ruth C./1912, Genevieve/1914, Eleanor/1915. She was a devote Catholic and supposedly attended mass every day. Her death was due to acute cholecystitis with sclerotic heart disease a contributing factor. Her Payette ancestry goes back to Pierre Payette dit St. Amour who married 23 November 1671 in Montreal, PQ, Canada Louise Tessier daughter of Urbain Tessier. There is a placque on the Bank of Montreal/a la Place-d'Armes that states: THIS BUILDING IS ERECTED ON PART OF THE ORIGINAL CONCESSION TO URBAIN TESSIER DIT LAVIGNE BEING THE 8TH GRANT MADE TO AN INDIVIDUAL IN THE ISLAND OF MONTREAL.
