Married Hannah Walker, on 30 June 1750, in Rehoboth, Mass.
In the 82nd year of his age.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
From the book, A Genealogical History of the Descendants of Joseph Peck, who emigrated with his family to this country in 1638... (Printed by Alfred Mudge & Son, Boston. 1868.):
"John Peck, son of John, at first resided in Attleborough, Mass. He afterwards settled at Pawtucket, R.I., where he owned a forge, and from there removed to New Brunswick, and settled at Shepody, now Hopewell, Albert County, where he remained for several years. He afterwards returned to Attleborough. He was twice married: first to Hannah Walker, of Seekonk, Mass.; second to a widow Paddlefoot; and resided near Taunton, where he died, May 19, 1807. His first wife died October 2, 1804."
Also according to this book, John and Hannah had the following children:
John. Died unmarried
Unnamed child who was drowned at Pawtucket when young
Peter. Died unmarried
Hannah, who married William Cole, of Seekonk, Mass., and settled in Sterling, Conn.
Chloe, who married Simeon Goff, of Seekonk, Mass., and settled in Surry, Mass. [sic - but this should probably read Savoy, Mass., as that is where I find the family from 1800 on)
Polly, who married Andrew Davison of New Brunswick. They removed to Attleborough, Mass.
All of these children, except the unnamed child who died young, are also named in John Peck's Last Will and Testament, which he wrote in Sterling, Conn., on 26 October 1805 (one year after Hannah died). This Will also states that he formerly resided in Sutton, Mass. When he died, and probate was requested, he is described as "late of Rehoboth." It is probable that he died in or near Rehoboth.
