Dorothy May Hinkle, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away April 16, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born March 18, 1932, in Strongsville, Ohio, to Herbert & Zella (Harrison) Burmiester.
Dorothy loved cats and playing I-Pad games.
She was a tutor for college history students.
Dorothy is survived by 4 children, David Hinkle & wife, Brenda Hinkle, of Oklahoma City, Jimmy Hinkle, of Oklahoma City, Bobby Hinkle & wife, Donna, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Sherri Watson & husband, Bill, of Jones, Oklahoma; and 10 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & Zella Burmiester; her husband of 48 years, James Hinkle; sister, Donna Bock; and brother, Bob Brock.
A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma.
Service are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
