Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Davis Anderson, 94, of Columbus, Ohio, native of Calypso, NC, will be held Easter Monday, April 22, at 11 a.m. from Tyndall Funeral Home with burial following in the Calypso Cemetery. The family will receive friends during the hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson passed away Monday, April 18. She was the widow of Roy Anderson, and the daughter of the late George Washington Davis and Lola Mae Summerlin Davis, and was one of their 12 children.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice Zorns and husband, John, of Grove City, Ohio; a son, Dallas Anderson and wife, Jennifer, of Alamogordo, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Gary Anderson and wife, Karen, of La Luz, New Mexico, Kenneth Anderson and wife, Cheryl, of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Jason Zorns and wife, Taylor, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Jamie Masteller and husband, Chris, of Columbus, Ohio; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Winston Davis and wife, Doreen, of Goldsboro, NC, the Rev. James "Jack" Davis of Goldsboro, NC, Leonard Davis and wife, Ellen, of Dudley, NC, and Kenneth Davis of Corinth, Mississippi; a special friend, Bill Hammond of Columbus, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
