Graveside services for Fred S. Teague, 85, of Lamesa will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Jim Medley officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday April 20, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
Fred passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born February 21, 1934 in Crowell, TX to Thelma (Sellers) and John Teague. He married Marilyn Lamphere April 9, 1955 in Lamesa. They were married 64 years. Fred was a talented iron worker and he helped build the Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri, and the Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Teague of Lamesa; children, David Teague of Lamesa, Kevin Teague of Milford, Ohio, and Phyllis Payer and husband, Tom of Valporaiso, Indiana; sister, Billie Smith of Loop; brother, Ernest Teague of Abernathy; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Ida Lou Brewer, and Dorothy Marley.
